Hey, have you ever really wanted to change?
Maybe there’s an area of your life where you want to see transformation.
Today’s devotional for day 11 of our 21 days of prayer and fasting is for you.
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Changing the way you think brings transformation. It all starts there.
In this season of fasting and prayer, as we get into the Word of God and align our thinking with God’s thinking, it’s like standing here on the Zig Zag in the Perth Hills overlooking the city. You come up to a higher place. Your thoughts are no longer stuck in the busyness and hurriedness of life. From this higher place, you gain a new perspective.
Sometimes the greatest miracle is not the changing of a problem, but the transformation of a perspective — seeing things the way God sees them.
As we renew our minds according to His Word, our vision changes and our perspective begins to align with how God sees things.
So as you fast and pray, let me encourage you: transformation starts with renewing your mind according to what God’s Word says.
And God’s Word is good.
God bless you.
